NASH, Texas (KSLA/Gray News) - Law enforcement officials said they found four people dead following a standoff situation Tuesday at a home in Texas.

Officials with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office said a person was barricaded inside the home. Sheriff’s deputies, Nash police and the Texas Department of Public Safety responded just before 11 a.m.

Police say when they arrived, witnesses told them multiple people had already been killed inside the house.

Police say the 18-year-old suspect, identified by law enforcement and court records as Cesar Olalde, eventually came outside and was taken into custody. Four people were then found dead inside.

Officials say it’s unclear at this time how the four people died, but police did say Olalde and the four victims are all related.

The ages of the victims have not yet been provided.

A search warrant was obtained late Tuesday afternoon to search the house.

Olalde is facing multiple counts of capital murder. Police say he will be arraigned Wednesday morning.

Nash is a city in the Texarkana metropolitan area and has a population of nearly 4,000 people.
