NEW LONDON, Minn. (KVLY/Gray News) - A second boy has died from his injuries after a crash involving a UTV and a pickup truck earlier this month.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the collision occurred on Jan. 7 when three brothers riding a Polaris Ranger UTV collided with a Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of 95th Street and Highway 9 in Kandiyohi County.

Riding on the UTV were 15-year-old Will Dahl and his two younger siblings, Harrison, 11, and Drew, 10.

Police said all people involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts except for Dahl.

The boys suffered life-threatening injuries and were taken to the Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis.

Will died on Jan. 9 and the boys’ parents updated a CaringBridge site this week saying that Harrison has also died.

“Harrison went to be with Jesus. He fought so hard, but his little body couldn’t handle all the stress and trauma. We are going to miss his witty comments, his energy, and his adventurous self. We love you Harry so very much and are so proud of you. I know Jesus and Will were there to greet you into heaven,” the boys’ mother Lara Dahl shared.

Drew has survived the crash and is reportedly undergoing occupational and physical therapy while he recovers.

A GoFundMe was established to help cover medical costs for the family that has raised more than $165,000.

The 40-year-old pickup driver was not injured, authorities said.
