Man’s body found in North Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - A man was found dead early this morning in Rapid City after a passerby reported an unresponsive male.
Medical units and police were dispatched this morning to the area around 111 New York Street where the male was pronounced dead.
As of now, police don’t know how the man died but noted there was no sign of trauma or foul play. An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death.
The identity of the man is being withheld until his family can be contacted.
