WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - The Biden-Harris campaign had a resounding primary victory in South Carolina during the first in the nation primary Saturday.

Now, the campaign heads out west. President Biden is visiting Nevada ahead of the state’s Tuesday primary.

Back in Washington, D.C., the House is expected to vote on aid to Israel this week.

Speaker Mike Johnson announced the plan over the weekend as the Senate has been working on its own foreign supplemental budget for weeks.

A previous Israeli aid package passed by the house was rejected by senate majority leader Chuck Schumer because of the cuts it made to other budgets.

Washington leaders will continue to follow the evolving tensions in the Middle East after the U.S. and its allies attacked Iranian-backed forces in Yemen, Syria, and Iraq over the last week.

Thursday will be one of the biggest days at the Supreme Court this year. The Court will hear oral arguments on Colorado’s efforts to keep former president Donald Trump off the that state’s primary ballot.

The Colorado Supreme Court decided in December to remove trump from the ballot, citing the “insurrection clause” of the 14th Amendment.

The justices’ decision could determine whether he will stay on the ballot in other states.
