Former substitute teacher arrested after talking to students about his sexual ‘body count,’ sheriff says
TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WVUE/Gray News) - A former high school substitute teacher in Louisiana was arrested after allegedly speaking to students about his previous sexual history, according to authorities.
Cameron McKnight, 26, a substitute teacher and part-time athletics coach, was speaking with students about his “body count,” the number of women he had previously been with, according to a complaint authorities received on Feb. 27.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards said detectives were able to substantiate the claim and arrested McKnight. He was booked with one count of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of prohibited sexual conduct between educator and student.
At the time of the complaint, McKnight was no longer employed at any school within the Parish, according to Edwards.
