Black Hills Fox newsroom dishes out their favorite pie

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Rapid City was celebrating with food on ‘Pi Day’ and on Skyline Dr., and we were also celebrating.

We asked our Black Hills Fox newsroom their favorite kind of pie.

“Happy Pie Day everybody, if I had to choose my favorite it would easily be strawberry rhubarb,” said David Stradling, chief meteorologist.

“Well, I like all sorts of pies, pizza pies, apple pies, snicker pies, just a lot of pies,” said Jacob Fitzgerald, Producer.

“My favorite kind of pie is key lime, which we actually ordered special from Sharon,” said Crissy Davies, assignment manager.

“I got to go with apple or cherry, keep the pumpkin away,” said Jack Caudill, anchor.

“I think my favorite type is apple pie,” said Shelby Peplowski, meteorologist.

“My favorite kind of pie is Perkins chocolate silk pie,” said Madison Newman, reporter.

“My favorite kind of pie is pumpkin pie,” said Andrew Lind, sports reporter.

“My great grandma used to make a chocolate meringue pie, that’s my favorite,” said Jennifer Blake, news director.

“I’m not really a pie guy, I would say chocolate to be a little bit basic about it,” said Cody Dennis, reporter.

“It’s probably a tie between banana cream pie and pepperoni pizza,” said Brad Walton, reporter.

“My favorite kind of pie is probably pumpkin pie,” said Candyse Arivett, weather intern.

“I’m from New York, it’s got to be pizza pie,” said Jack Siebold, digital news desk manager.

“My favorite pie is definitely pizza, being Italian and just growing up in an Italian family, you know pizza was always the go-to,” said Bryan Savic, reporter.
