KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV/Gray News) - An Amber Alert for Amira Bills, 4, was canceled after she was found safe.

An Amber Alert for Amira was activated after police said she was abducted by her biological father Saturday. He is still not in police custody.

Kansas City Police Department said Aerian Bills, 36, assaulted Amira’s mother and then abducted the girl around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Bills allegedly told Amira’s mother that he would harm the girl and himself if police became involved in the incident.

Bills is described as a Black male with dreadlocks. He is 6 feet 2 inches tall and 260 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Kansas City Police Department at 816-474-8477 immediately.
