WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - This week on “The Good Side”, Debra Alfarone highlights a nonprofit helping military families feel connected when parents are deployed. United Through Reading strengthens military families’ emotional bonds through books and storytelling. A family in Virginia tells Debra how United Through Reading helped them make memories while apart.
