Another sunny and warm day

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Sunshine and warm air will return today with highs in the 50s and 60s for many. Sheridan will likely reach the 70s by this afternoon. The warm weather is expected to remain through the week with highs in the 60s and 70s across western South Dakota and northeast Wyoming.

While it will be dry for many, a few afternoon showers and storms will be possible across Wyoming on Friday. Changes are expected this weekend as another storm system is on tap. This one is expected to be a bit warmer, so less snow and more rain will be the outcome. Showers will be likely on Saturday with some snow showers mixing in Sunday, mainly for Wyoming and the Black Hills.

Late this week and over the weekend expect breezy conditions to develop with gusts exceeding 40 mph at times. winds will weaken into early next week.
