Park officials prepare for historic day at Niagara Falls in the path of total eclipse
NIAGARA FALLS, NY (Gray Media) - Millions of Americans will get to witness a total solar eclipse Monday for the first time since 2017 and the last time until 2044.
One of the most iconic settings in the U.S. just so happens to be right in the path of totality for this Great American Eclipse – Niagara Falls, New York. Park officials are preparing for a lot of people coming from all over the country and world. While they are hesitant to guess at the number of visitors it is safe to say it is going to be a big day for the park.
There will be experts from NASA on hand and other activities for visitors in the park. Eclipses are not rare, but to be in the path of totality could be a once in a lifetime experience for folks gathering in Western New York.
