“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” takes center stage at the Homestake
Performance to also include the whole “Peanuts” gang, Linus, Lucy and Snoopy & more
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - The loveable character of Charlie Brown, originally from the comic strip “Peanuts” and known all over the world will make his debut at the Homestake Opera House.
Homestake Theater Works presents “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” on May 3, 4, 5, and 10, 11, 12, Friday and Saturday shows at 7 p.m., and a special Mother’s Day Sunday matinee at 2 p.m.
Lindsey Lothrop, Interim Executive Director, at Homestake Opera House, says the performance is based on The Comic Strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz, a revue of songs and vignettes from the classic comic cartoon, Peanuts. Explore life with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, through wit, charm, and happiness. Exploring life’s great questions as they play baseball, struggle with homework, sing songs, swoon over their crushes, and celebrate the joy of friendship.
