Platform works as a maintenance solution for renters and property managers
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - From leaky faucets to cold showers, tenants often find themselves in frustrating situations where their maintenance requests go unanswered.
In response to this problem, platforms like Property Meld have been created as a maintenance solution for both renters and property managers.
“Next to leasing, there is no greater financial impact on a property management’s business bottom line than maintenance, so putting a hyper-focus on giving the property management company the oversight and increasing their speed of repair ultimately leads to higher resident satisfaction,” said John Kearns, head of solutions at Property Meld.
Through the platform, renters can submit maintenance requests directly, eliminating the chance for miscommunication.
Not only does this ease tenants’ minds, but it also removes the middleman title for landlords and property managers.
“It’s kind of like the doordash or Uber of maintenance requests; if anyone can do that, they can most definitely do property meld; it’s just logging into a portal and communicating that way; it’s very quick and efficient, and we have great feedback from our tenants,” said Rachel Crow, co-owner of Ace Property Management.
Crow says Property Meld helps provide a better rental experience.
“We all want our things to work, and when they don’t work, we want real-time solutions, so property meld has allowed us to have a better relationship with our tenants because we have a very wonderful communication tool,” said Crow.
