Staying warm for Mother's Day, but a few storms are possible

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - High temperatures will return to the 60s and 70s for Mother’s Day, but storms will be possible. A few storms could fire up around 10 a.m. and linger into the afternoon hours.

Near to above average temperatures stick around for much of next week with highs in the 60s and 70s. It will be a bit active with wind and storms.

Isolated storm chances are expected Monday for the Black Hills region, and into northeast Wyoming. A few storms will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday, also. As for the wind, it could get breezy Tuesday and winds may gust up to 30 or 40 mph through Friday.
