Much warmer air arrives to end the week
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Skies are partly cloudy overnight with low temperatures falling into the 40s. Thursday will start off mostly cloudy, but skies break up a bit through the day. A stray shower or storm will be possible, but the moisture will be very isolated. Highs will climb into the 70s for many.
Friday will be the warmest day of the forecast with highs climbing into the mid 80s in Rapid City. While it will be sunny in the morning through the middle of the day, a few afternoon storms will be possible.
Temperatures will fall into the 60s and 70s on Saturday under sunny skies, but it will get warmer on Sunday with highs near 80°. A few afternoon storms will be possible to close out the weekend.
Cooler air is likely next week with temperatures near to below average, with many days in the 60s. Scattered showers are expected through much of next week as well.
