Boss’ Pizza and Chicken in Rapid City opening a new location

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Many in the area may already know Boss’ Pizza and Chicken as the last late-night option for a bite to eat with deliveries going out until 3 a.m. every night. Soon Box Elder and the surrounding area will get the opportunity to give them a chance.

With the new location come some changes, at the start of the month, Boss’ Pizza and Chicken in Rapid City changed ownership with long-time GM Jason Johnson taking over the role with help from new co-owner Andrew Heinle.

The new location will be off Cheyenne Boulevard next to the Baymont Hotel. The location itself brings changes as well, it will feature in-person dining options as well as an earlier open time, introducing lunch to Boss’.

After some elbow grease and long nights, the new location is expected to be up and running on June 1. Johnson says it has been a long, but fulfilling journey to this role.

“A little exhausting but it’s exciting, it’s finally worth doing a little something for myself and my future,” Johnson said.

Johnson says he is a pretty hands-on owner, if you want to say hi to the new owner stop in and be sure to catch their grand opening of the new location next month.
