Showers and Storms Possible During the Day Tomorrow
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) -
Overnight tonight we are going to see temperatures a little warmer than last night. Temperatures only manage to get into the upper 40s in Rapid. Tomorrow, it will be a breezy day with temperatures making it back into the 70s by the afternoon with some showers and possibly even some thunderstorms possible in the afternoon in Western South Dakota. Futurecast shows that we are going to see an upper level low bring beneficial moisture to NE Wyoming over the course of the next 24 hours. That pushes out of here and Friday is looking sunny throughout most of the day. Saturday starts the holiday weekend and some clouds begin their push into the area bringing along some moisture. Memorial Day weekend is looking to bring the possibility of some showers and storms both on Saturday and Sunday with Memorial Day looking to be mostly sunny with a very slight chance for some isolated storms. 70s return by Monday. Overnight tonight, we will clear out with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the 40s and 50s for everyone. Sunshine starts out the day tomorrow in W South Dakota with temperatures getting warmest on the SD Plains. Cooler temperatures are likely in NE Wyoming with rain showers possible throughout the entire day, keeping those temperatures in the 50s. The next three days in NE Wyoming and the Northern Hills shows that we are going to see temperatures cool off a little with a sunny day on Friday. Rapid City will also likely see breezy conditions not only tomorrow, but extending into Friday with some storms possible Saturday with rain likely on Sunday. Storms are possible for Memorial Day itself, but we dry out by the middle of next week with temperatures getting into the 80s by Wednesday.
