Showers are possible over the holiday weekend

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy this weekend. A few showers and storms will be possible Saturday afternoon, but they look to be very isolated in nature. The best chance for moisture will be Sunday, mainly in the morning and middle of the day. While a few storms linger into the afternoon they will be a bit more isolated as well.

Breezy conditions develop Sunday and Monday with gusts up to 35 mph possible across the area. Highs this weekend will be in the 60s for many, but 70s are looking more likely for Memorial Day, where skies will be mostly sunny.

It continues to warm up next week with highs in the 70s and 80s across the region. Afternoon storms look likely Wednesday and Thursday.
