Woman, 83, gored by bison at Yellowstone

GREENVILLE, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) – An 83-year-old from South Carolina was gored by bison in Yellowstone National Park and seriously injured.
National Park Service officials said the woman was injured near the Storm Point Trail at Yellowstone Lake on June 1.
According to officials, the bison, defending its space, approached the woman and lifted her about a foot off the ground with its horns.
The woman was taken to a medical clinic nearby and then flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
