Summer-like temperatures on tap Wednesday

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - Temperatures will stay rather warm tonight as many locations will stay in the 60s by morning. Others will drop into the upper 50s. Skies will be mainly clear, though a stray shower is possible for Carter, Harding and Perkins Counties.

Sunny skies are on tap Wednesday. Temperatures will be in the 80s for much of the area and some spots will climb into the 90s, mainly in southwest South Dakota and out toward the Badlands.

Thursday will remain sunny, but temperatures will be a little cooler. Highs are expected to be in the 70s and 80s. Warm air returns Friday and Saturday with 80s likely for many and some 90s possible. There is the possibility of storms both days.

Father’s Day will be refreshing with highs in the 70s for many. While mostly sunny, it will be slightly breezy. Temperatures stay in the 70s going into early next week.
