Edwardo Santiago pleads guilty, sentenced to 10 years in prison
RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) - The man accused of stealing a charter bus from a Rapid City hotel last year pleaded guilty and was sentenced in court Tuesday.
Edwardo Santiago, 40, was sentenced to ten years in prison for grand theft of over $100,000. Five of those years will be suspended and the 278 days he has spent in jail since being arrested will count as time served.

Santiago was arrested back in September of last year for stealing a bus and taking it for a quote “joyride” from Rapid City to Sioux Falls. However, he only got as far as Chamberlain.
Santiago is also required to pay $11,250 in restitution for his actions.
