Mother among 3 people charged after 6-year-old boy in handcuffs attacked by dog

ASHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO/Gray News) - Three people were charged after a pit bull attacked a 6-year-old boy restrained by handcuffs on his hands and feet.

Angelina Williams, the boy’s mother, Robert Michalski Jr., the boy’s uncle, and Taylor Desiree Marvin Brown, Williams’ boyfriend, were all charged.

Williams is charged with endagering children. Michalski is charged with endangering children and tampering with evidence. Brown is charged with endangering children and obstruction of justice.

Prosecutors said the case will be presented to a grand jury.

Deputies said the attack happened Saturday, Aug. 17.

Deputies arrived at the scene and found the child was restrained with handcuffs on his hands and feet. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Deputies said the dog and its owner, Michalski, were found hiding in a cubbyhole.

The dog was taken into custody as a vicious dog.
