ST. LOUIS (KMOV/Gray News) - A man is accused of endangering the welfare of a child after he reportedly dragged a baby in an overturned stroller down a street in St. Louis.

According to police, Tamadj A. Shakesperae dragged a 2-month-old baby in an overturned stroller down the right lane of Olive Street on Monday.

He then reportedly stopped to throw up and then left the baby in the stroller in the middle of the street.

The incident was caught on surveillance video, police said.

Charging documents state that Shakesperae admitted to smoking K2, a form of synthetic marijuana, before the incident while the baby was in his care.

Shakesperae is charged with a felony count of endangering the welfare of a child.
