EMT students help instructor suffering seizure hours after learning what to do

(InvestigateTV) — Seizures are sudden uncontrolled bursts of electrical activity in the brain.
The CDC estimates one in ten Americans may experience one in their lifetime.
They’re most commonly associated with epilepsy, but seizures can also happen after a stroke or head injury, and even after an infection such as meningitis.
A group of emergency responders in training were able to put their knowledge about seizures to good use.
Reporter Caroline Hecker shows us how they stepped in when their instructor needed it the most.
