Pyrex is refunding people who bought glass products falsely advertised as ‘Made in USA’

(Gray News) - Pyrex has been ordered to refund people who bought glass measuring cups falsely advertised as being “made in USA.”

According to the FTC, it is sending more than $88,000 in refunds from Pyrex to people who bought Pyrex glass measuring cups on Amazon that were advertised as being “made in USA” despite being made in China.

More than 110,000 units of the Chinese-made measuring cup sets were sold to U.S. consumers while being marketed as “made in USA.”

The FTC will be sending checks to 10,259 consumers and the checks should be cashed within 90 days.

Consumers who have questions about their payment should contact the refund administrator at 833-244-7320 or check the Frequently Asked Questions section of the FTC’s website.
