(Gray News) – The next full moon will illuminate the sky this week and will be the brightest of the supermoons by a tiny margin, according to NASA.

This will be the third of four consecutive supermoons and will be visible Thursday morning at 7:26 a.m. EDT.

NASA says the moon will appear full for about three days, from Tuesday evening through Friday morning.

According to NASA, this will be the Hunter’s Moon, which falls after the Harvest Moon.

It gets its name after the harvesters have reaped the fields, helping hunters to easily see the animals that have come out to glean, according to the Farmer’s Almanac.
