Ali Butts
Future Focus Intern
Ali just finished her second year at Huntington University, where she is triple majoring in film production, broadcasting, and history. She is an active member of her school's film program and has worked on a few films as a camera operator. She also enjoys participating in her school's newscast "Forester Digital Network." She is also a member of both Huntington's student activities board and student government.
Ali fell in love with broadcasting in her senior year of high school when she was in the broadcasting program at Carroll High School, helping create content for their weekly show, "Studio 415."
Outside of school, she enjoys trying new coffee shops with friends, binging sitcom shows, and teaching her dog, Piper, new tricks.
Ali is a huge fan of concerts and is always up to see anyone live. Her favorite one so far was the Eras Tour last summer (she is a huge Swiftie.) Before then, her first concert from when she was eight years old had not been beaten, Carrie Underwood: Blown Away Tour.
She is excited for this opportunity over the summer and cannot wait to learn more about the community she grew up in. If you have a story idea for her, send her an email at alana.butts@21alivenews.com
