Aria Janel

Cleveland sure has Aria's heart. She returned to 19 News as a Weekend Morning Anchor and reporter in 2024.

Aria previously worked at WTOC in Savannah, GA. While there she anchored The News at Daybreak, a morning show from 4:30-7am. She also hosted Morning Break, a lifestyle community show, and was a part of WTOC Investigates team, spear heading their Asked and Answered franchise.

Before Working in Savannah, Aria was a reporter at 19 News. She focused on community stories and seeking results as part of the Troubleshooter team .

Aria also worked as a reporter in Evansville, IN at WFIE.

She is originally from Kannapolis, North Carolina and graduated from The University of North Carolina Wilmington.

While Studying at UNCW she spent a semester abroad in England where she attended Keele University and took classes in film and marketing.

Aria is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and loves finding ways to give back to her community.

When Aria is not working, she loves playing with her dog Kaizer, binge watching TV shows, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new places.
