Ian Schwartz

As a proud native of Mesa, Arizona, and a graduate of Arizona State University, Meteorologist Ian Schwartz's heart is deeply rooted in this state. His return to Arizona is a homecoming that he is truly thrilled about.

After starting his journalism career in Illinois, Ian worked in Albuquerque and later Sacramento. As a reporter in the field, he has covered flash floods, blizzards, tornadoes, wildfires, drought, and just about everything the weather can offer.

After spending some time reporting, Ian decided to further his education and completed Mississippi State's broadcast meteorology program. Ian loves everything about Arizona's weather, from winter storms in the north to the monsoons in the south.
