Jenise Rebholz

I've always called myself a proud "townie"! I was born and raised in Metamora before continuing my education at Bradley University. While on the hilltop, I was involved with BUTV and a service group directly supporting St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Growing up I was always into sports and competition, so studying sports broadcasting felt like a natural fit. It wasn't until my internships with three news stations and the Peoria Rivermen that I realized my heart was with local news. It was a dream of mine to work at the station I grew up watching, WEEK and HOI.

I joined the team in 2016 with producing and hosting special programs like Good Company, Ask the Attorney, and more.

I started reporting in 2017 and found a permanent spot at the anchor desk in 2018. You've seen my face on several different broadcasts but my commitment has always been the same.

I married my husband in 2019 and we welcomed our son in June 2021. We are so proud to raise our baby in central Illinois, a place that is home for both of us. We stay extra busy with two large dogs as well!

When I'm not at work, I enjoy taking my son to the fun places central Illinois has to offer like zoos, parks and playgrounds. I'm not sure who likes seeing the animals more, me or him? Plus, I love catching an iced coffee from a local spot.
